E de Encomendiña is our line designed for the mass market and large retailers. It’s a 100% Arbequina extra virgin olive oil from the early harvest, intended for everyday use in the kitchen and for supermarkets looking to offer their customers a truly high-quality product at an affordable price.
Like our flagship product La Encomendiña, this oil is obtained through cold extraction. It is harvested in November, still within the early harvest period, but at a slightly more advanced stage of ripeness. This difference in harvest time (September vs. November) influences the polyphenol content: while it remains an excellent quality extra virgin olive oil, its profile is somewhat milder and more versatile for everyday use.
Harvesting in November, rather than September, allows for a higher yield per olive. This increased production volume translates into authentic extra virgin olive oil at a competitive price, making it a viable option for supermarket shelves.
Its 2-liter PET bottle format with an ergonomic design has been specifically designed to facilitate grip and handling in the daily life of the domestic kitchen, offering comfort and practicality without sacrificing quality.
