With winter knocking at the door, the olive grove takes a deep breath after the hustle and bustle. It is a time of calm to let the earth sleep and the countryside catch its breath.

A few months ago, we excitedly shared the news of our new plantation, a 100-hectare olive grove. Today, we are pleased to report that growth is progressing very well and the young trees are beginning to show their full vitality.

This year’s harvest has a very special meaning: for the first time we have harvested our traditional olive trees, and we have done it in the traditional way, with care, patience and respect for the rhythms of the land.

The Resolution recognizes our farm’s commitment to reducing emissions and combating climate change, as well as the efforts we make every day to move towards more sustainable, responsible and environmentally friendly production.

As part of its patronage and social commitment, La Encomendiña has made a donation of extra virgin olive oil, along with other economic contributions, to Hogar de Nazaret de Olivenza, an institution with a deep parochial character dedicated to accompanying and serving those most in need.
