We are so excited to share this news! At La Encomendiña, we have begun the harvest, one of the most anticipated and beautiful moments of the year.
This year, the harvest has a very special meaning: for the first time, we have harvested our traditional olive trees, and we have done so in the traditional way, with care, patience, and respect for the rhythms of the land. Seeing these olive trees, which so symbolize the essence of the countryside, offer us their first fruit has been a moment filled with emotion and pride.
For the rest of the olive grove, the harvest has been brought forward a few days due to the forecast of heavy rains, which even forced us to stop for a day, but that has only increased the team’s enthusiasm and energy.
Each olive harvested is the result of months of work, care, and dedication. And, in the case of traditional olive groves, harvesting them using time-honored methods—as has been done in our families and villages for generations—connects us even more deeply with our roots and the true essence of our land.
